Colorado Places Fourth in Forbes List of Best States for Business

According to Forbes’s latest list, Colorado is once again the fourth best state for business.  Although the state landed a number six position in 2008, this marks the second year in a row that Colorado was placed in the number four position.

A number of factors are taken into consideration when developing the Forbes annual list of the best states for business. These factors include:

    * Business costs (including labor, taxes and energy)
    * Labor supply
    * Regulatory environment
    * Economic climate
    * Growth prospects
    * Quality of life

Victorian Horrors at the Historic Molly Brown House

Take in a little history and literature by participating in Victorian Horrors at the historic Molly Brown House. On October 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd, you can listen to authors such as H.G. Wells and Edgar Allan Poe as they read their tales of the macabre by flickering candlelight.  Performances begin every 15 minutes and run from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Cost is $18 or $15 for children, seniors or members.
