Coming May 4th and May 5th to Denver, the 25th Annual Cinco de Mayo Festival and Parade will hit the Civic Center Park. This is the largest celebration for Cinco de Mayo in the entire country and is filled with Mexican culture, arts, Mariachi bands, Aztec and Folklorico dancers and so much more. With three stages full of entertainment, amazing food and everything you could possibly imagine, this is an event everybody needs to attend.

Events throughout the Weekend

The weekend starts with the Cinco de Mayo Parade at 10am on Saturday May 4th. Other events throughout the weekend include:

Home in Cherry Hills VillageRecently, The Wall Street Journal did a spotlight piece on Cherry Hills Village and called it "one of the most affluent communities in the USA." This is a wealthy neighborhood located just outside of Denver with many celebrity residents, such as Walter Isenberg, John Elway and Peyton Manning.

Peyton Manning didn't waste any time settling into this neighborhood after signing with the Denver Broncos and he wasn't the first. He joined many high-profile business owners and local athletes in one of the most luxurious neighborhoods in all of Colorado.

Cherry Hills Village is found about 20 minutes to the south of downtown Denver. It's only about 6.5 square miles and doesn't offer much shopping. With 25 miles of trails, 47 acres of parks and one very small

It features art by Clyfford Still and is split into five different galleries. Each of these galleries features a different color including, black, white, blue, yellow and red. Still features many dramatic textures with vertical forms and an interesting use of color.

Still is part of the abstract expressionist movement, which features other artists, such as Franz Kline, Jackson Pollock, Robert Motherwell and many others. However, the difference Still presents in his art is the use of black and white within the strong influence of color. This makes his art quite unique compared to the other artists of his time.

This event will feature plenty of construction, remodeling, home improvement, landscaping, redecorating and other home advice. Many qualified professionals will be on hand to make sure you get the advice you need about new products and any new projects you plan to tackle over the summer.

The event has sold out all the exhibitors’ space and will be filled with plenty of companies within the industry. Whether you need to learn about new windows or you want to get advice about finishing your basement, this is the place to be. The Home Improvement Expo will provide plenty of connections for all in attendance.
