A Festival of Chalk

This is a free event featuring street-painting and over 200 artist on hand. The streets will be transformed into beautiful works of ark with chalk for the spectators to enjoy. This is one of the most unique experiences found throughout the city and will feature so much more than just art.

Friday Night Lights on Larimer will kick off the festival on Friday, May 31st from 6pm to 10pm. This kickoff party includes:

  • Drinks specials from many local bars and restaurants
  • Southwest Airlines baggage tossing contents
  • A DIY graffiti showdown

Historic Mountain Parks of Denver

With a total of 46 different parks, there's a great place for everybody. The first park was established in 1912. Two national parks are found within the network including Red Rocks Park and Summit Lake Park. Red Rocks Park is about 15 minutes from Denver and provides a low-elevation park with many events throughout the year.
