Construction SiteLower Highland neighborhood in Denver, Lo-Hi, is booming in the construction of new homes lately. Not only is residential construction up, but commercial office space is increasing. Lo-Hi is currently home to single family homes, townhomes, lofts, and condominiums.  These are some of the upcoming commercial projects in the works for the Lo-Hi neighborhood Denver.

In 1995, The Stapleton International Airport was shut down. As a result, new housing constructions in Stapleton were born. Located in the northern part of Denver, Stapleton offers a variety of housing in and around the city limits. These neighborhoods offer community pools, outstanding school systems, and residential parks.

Stapleton conveniently intersects with Interstate 70, and is known to be the main East-West gateway for Denver. A census conducted in 2011 reported a little over 19,000 residents inhabited the Stapleton neighborhoods.

The National Association of Home Builders examined the allocation of space in new single family homes, based on the size of the home. The survey results from 204 home builders indicated that the largest space is taken by bedrooms at almost 30% of the space of a home. This is followed by bathrooms, kitchens and family/living rooms, the space was determined to be dependent upon the size of the home.

Bedroom space takes up just under 29% of floor space in new homes, regardless of house size.
