The Community of Congress Park
Only slightly further away are Downtown Denver, City Park, and the Museum of Nature and Science. Quick access to the major thoroughfares, namely Interstate-70 and I-25 makes Congress Park accessible to both visitors and residents entering and leaving the commumity. Congress Park is high on the list of Central Denver's most desirable neighborhoods, due in large part to a close proximity to downtown, and the Cherry Creek shopping area.
A wide variety of homes, ranging from mansions to multi-story apartment buildings are to be found in the Congress Park Real Estate area. Most of the original homes were built near the turn of the century, and the builders are busy here. Rebuilds, pop-tops, and complete renovations are easily found. The Denver Botanic Gardens lies along the western boarder of Congress Park Neighborhood. Open year round, the gardens provide not only an opportunity to see a variety of plants and trees, but also, the many shaded flower-garden areas.
