Curtis Park's boundaries are a little on the fuzzy side, and overlap slightly with those of adjacent neighborhoods. But generally, Broadway and Downing Streets bound the neighborhood to its west and east, and 23rd and 38th Streets enclose it to the south and north.

Curtis Park's colorful history is reflected in its housing, from the quaint and charming single-family Victorian, to today’s modern loft space. The Victorian styles are more prominent in Curtis Park than in any other area of Denver. Additional architectural designs can also be found, including the Queen Anne, and the Romanesque Revival. Multi-family housing "duplexes" are also quite common here. Homebuyers in the Curtis Park real estate area have a variety of options. All of the old deteriorated housing projects have been razed, and in their place now stand new structures containing condominiums and fashionable apartments. A good many of the classic structures still remain, and await caring owners to restore them to their former magnificence. Homes in the Curtis Park real estate area are priced anywhere from $300,000 to $700,000.

About Curtis Park, Colorado

Curtis Park neighborhood has seen its ups and downs. Curtis Park was the very first Denver suburb in the early 1880s, even though today it's just a mile away from the city’s center. A community that saw many of the benefits of Denver’s silver boom in the late 1800’s, early Denver residents were drawn to Curtis Park by the allure of its social prestige. Those who could afford to move to the newer, more fashionable neighborhood did so. Today, Curtis Park is once again a community in transition. Older homes undergo extensive renovation, and new structure help change the current landscape. Curtis Park neighborhood will soon benefit from light rail, moving residents to and virtually any point in the Denver Metropolitan area.
