Elyria-Swansea Homes and Living

Elyria and Swansea have their own unique histories, yet both neighborhoods share common historical features. The Denver Planning Commission is working hard in the Elyria-Swansea real estate area. They believe this to be an area that can accommodate mixed-use development and exceptional transportation facilities. Back in the late 1800’s, The Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods met with favor, due to their proximity to the South Platte River and their flat terrain. Today the long standing real estate configuration of both communities remains pretty much the same: small sections of well maintained single family homes, interspersed with larger areas of commercial and industrial development.
