The Community of Fort Logan
Bordered roughly by Federal Blvd to Wadsworth and Highway 285 to highway 85 on the south, residents here enjoy quick access to Denver, and neighboring communities thanks to the major highways and boulevards that outline the neighborhood. About Fort Logan, Colorado
Three hundred eighty acres of land was deed over to the state of Colorado in 1960, to establish a state hospital--Fort Morgan Mental Health Center. The facility has since been renamed The Colorado Mental Health Institute, and today represents the state’s commitment to the well being of its citizens. Thanks to the preservation efforts of the Friends of Historic Fort Logan, the historic private and public facilities located in the Fort Logan real estate district continue to offer services vital to a healthy community.
