Harvey Park Homes and Living

Harvey Park is bounded on the west by South Sheridan Boulevard, on the south by West Hampden (US 285), on the east by South Lowell Boulevard, and on the north by West Jewell Avenue. The neighborhood is named after the Harvey family, who donated its farmland to the City and County of Denver for parks and recreation use back in the 1959’s. Fort Logan National Cemetery forms Harvey Park’s southern boundary.

The Harvey Park neighborhood in Southwest Denver was formed in the 1950s. A large friendly suburban area of about 4,200 homes, the streets are wide and the yards are large, which tends no to be the norm in many Denver neighborhoods. Residential housing stock in the Harvey Park real estate area is comprised almost entirely of ranch style homes, built with a solid character, in the middle of the last century. Prices here run modestly into the $120,000 range.

Harvey Park South Homes

Stretching from Jewell Avenue to Hampden Avenue, and from Sheridan Boulevard to Lowell Boulevard, the Harvey Park South real estate area lies in suburban west Denver. Named after the family that donated the land that now serves as the community's recreation area, Harvey Park itself is a place where residents enjoy a number of outdoor activities, including fishing, swimming, a first class recreational center, and ball fields. Tall prairie grasses and large open swales are also part of the park’s landscape. In some areas a rich palette of bulbs and perennials provide color and interest through the gardening year.
