Indian Creek Homes and Living

This small parcel of land in the southeast corner of Denver is convenient to downtown, Cherry Creek, and the Denver Tech Center. Indian Creek community is made up primarily of young adults, but older Denver residents, looking to streamline their living space also enjoy calling this area home. Quaint shops and restaurants are not to be found in the Indian Creek real estate area, as this is strictly residential living. But quick access to major highways, and the benefits that come with living in a quiet tight-knit community, seems to make that quite all right.

The roughly 5000 residents of Indian Creek real estate enjoy mountain views from the numerous town homes and condominiums that dominate the landscape, and there are a variety of architectural styles, from traditional to modern Southwestern, in the single-family home category. Homes price too, come in a variety, from affordable condos well under $200,000 to pricier models in the low $400,000 range. Single-family homes price around $225 per square foot, while town homes and condominiums bring around $140 per square foot.

About Indian Creek, Colorado

Prior to 1980, the Indian Creek real estate district was comprised of little more than a few farmhouses. At the time, Denver had recently been barred from annexing areas of unincorporated Arapahoe County, so Denver city officials took the opportunity to acquire as much land as possible before the ruling became law. The small parcel at Indian Creek was one of those acquisitions. Considered a quiet safe neighborhood, Indian Creek real estate area ranks near the bottom of crime-report statistics in Denver. Both homes and home prices here are modest, as Indian Creek continues as one of Denver’s best-kept secrets, in neighborhood real estate.
