The Adult Life in Downtown Denver

Moving to Denver and finding the right type of nightlife for your needs isn't very difficult. There are plenty of great options, but where do you start? Unless you live within walking distance of the perfect place for you, it's a good idea to trust those already living in the area. Here are some of the top bars throughout Downtown Denver to get you started.

Falling Rock Tap House

If you love beer, this is the place for you. Found at 1919 Blake Street, Falling Rock serves a Green Flash IPA and many other great beers. This isn't the place for a Budweiser or a Coors Light, however. They have a strict, "no crap on tap", policy, which most beer lovers will agree with. Try all of the 75 different beers on tap or just find your favorite.

Wazee Supper Club

Found at 1600 15th Street, you can enjoy a number of microbrews and even a cold PBR at Wazee. This is a great place for local beer and listening to the Eagles, AC/DC and all types of good music. This is a neighborhood type of bar with great beer and decent pizza.

9th Door

Located at 1808 Blake Street, this is the place for a great sangria. It features red decor and community tables and entertainment is provided by a flamenco guitar.

Cruise Room Bar

For the martini lover, Cruise Room is the place to be. It's found at 1600 17th Street and provides a great place to enjoy one of the best martinis in town. The bar opened the day after Prohibition ended and still feels a little like a cozy speakeasy.

The Corner Office

The jazz is the draw, but you can't leave without trying a Dirty Shirley. You can spend time here while waiting for a theater show to start or just enjoy the urban jazz music as you sip on a delicious drink.
