Berkeley, Denver Homes for Sale

Berkeley Real Estate
The area bounded by West 38th Avenue and Federal, and 52nd Avenue to Sheridan in northwest Denver, is the Berkeley neighborhood.
Berkeley is the former home of Denver's favorite amusement park, Elitch Gardens. For many years, the neighborhood was reflective of that once outdated and largely ignored facility, but no more. The Tennyson Arts District., the many parks, and the remarkable mountain views have all helped restate a neighborhood character that was there all along.
Investors and savvy homebuyers have begun buying up the reasonably priced brick bungalows and tudor homes in Berkeley. Quiet, tree-lined streets with easy access to parks, and mountain views are featured.
Berkeley has what the industry likes to call the "right mix". A solid residential neighborhood with a number of small shops, old theatres, and restaurants that give you the feeling that leaving the neighborhood for anything is quite unnecessary. It doesn't hurt that Berkeley is home to one of Denver's thriving art scenes, claiming a ten block section of Tennyson Street. Berkeley also benefits from its location just north of the West Highlands neighborhood, the flagship of urban renewal in northwest Denver.
