Clayton Homes for Sale

Clayton Homes
Clayton is located in northeast Denver, bounded by East 40th Ave to Martin Luther King Boulevard, and from Colorado Boulevard to York Street.
As Denver Colorado's population started to really expand, early in the 1900s, Clayton, was the first of several nearby communities in northeast Denver, that actually started to be called suburbs of the city. Today tree-lined streets provide shade for mostly single-family homes built in the early 1900s, and some of the more historic buildings, which still stand today.
There is a good deal of remodeling and renovation taking place in this historic Denver neighborhood. Many of the homes are spacious, and offer quite a few of the older amenities that today’s younger homebuyers have now come to appreciate, like fireplaces and hardwood floors.
Schools and education are important in the Clayton neighborhood and a high percentage of children here attend charter schools. When school is not in session however, residents in Clayton, and surrounding neighborhoods, enjoy the Jazz Series at City Park, The Natural History Museum and the Denver Zoo, all nearby.
