Homes in Gateway Denver CO

Gateway is located in north Denver, and is bounded by 52nd Avenue, Brighton Boulevard, and 54th Avenue on the north, by the South Platte River on the west, by 38th Street and 40th Avenue on the south, and by Colorado Boulevard on the east.

Denver’s Gateway real estate district is a developing area northeast of downtown, located along the Pena Boulevard corridor between Denver International Airport and the Interstate, and boarded by East 56th Ave. and Tower Road, and East Chambers and I-70. The Gateway also straddles RTD’s East Corridor FasTracks line, connecting the airport to downtown Denver. This area’s convenient location, immediately southeast of DIA, is ideal for the numerous hotels and motels that cater to airline travelers. Gateway is also a busy commercial center, home to several business parks and their many firms.

Located in the Gateway real estate district is the neighborhood’s first luxury apartment community, within landing distance of Denver International Airport. Gateway Park, offers Colorado mountain views, a private lake and unique floor plans to accommodate a variety of lifestyles. Denver’s Gateway Area real estate claims more than 4,500 acres of land. It lies between the established Denver neighborhoods of Montbello on the west, and Green Valley Ranch on the east, along Denver’s eastern transportation corridor. The City of Denver is intent on producing business and residential developments that are both aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally sensitive. Gateway is a clear and present challenge.

The city of Denver has plans initially, to build up to three transit stations in or near the Gateway real estate area, and future FasTracks commuter rail lines connecting I-70 to Denver International Airport will also be located here. In an effort to create an integrated transportation and land use plan that responds to changing community needs, and a balance of housing, jobs, and commercial interests, the city of Denver is actively investing in the Gateway real estate area, as it lays a guiding hand on the futures of this, Denver’s newest neighborhood community.
