Foxfield Real Estate
Foxfield is a new town in Colorado with a population of 700 located in the Southeast portion of the Denver Metro area, in Arapahoe County, and with spectacular Rocky Mountain views.
Foxfield was officially incorporated in December, 1994 with dreams of preserving the town as it had been. Growth however is closing in on all four sides of this small community, and encroachment had been the main reason the residents decided to incorporate. The idea was to preserve the country feel and pride they had spent so many years developing. By incorporating, other municipalities such as adjacent Aurora would be prevented from any annexation attempts.
In 2000, Foxfield had a median family income of $117,255. More so than most places, residents here generally have good jobs with good salaries. The large segment of the population in the town with spending money keeps the town vital. A college education seems to be more the rule than the exception in this town of a little over 700 residents. Home-based work is more common in Foxfield than in most small Colorado communities.
“Close-in country living,” still best describes Foxfield Colorado. Home sites in Foxfield, Colorado are required to rest on at least 2 full acres, which gives this small rural community a distinct country feel. Homes are custom built, with agricultural diversity and pride of ownership standard.
This community recognizes the value of its independence, and maintains a lifestyle that, as best it can, discourages growth.
