McArthur Ranch Homes for Sale

McArthur Ranch Real Estate
The view from McArthur Ranch is truly breathtaking. Some lots look over the Rockies, or onto downtown Denver or the Denver Tech Center Skyline.
Originally homesteaded by Mark D. and Edith McArthur in the early 1900s, McArthur Ranch has a rich and interesting history. The McArthurs came to the Denver area in a covered wagon and homesteaded the property now known as McArthur Ranch. For much of the time during that first half of the century, Mrs. McArthur operated the livestock ranch raising both cattle and horses while Mr. McArthur was out of state working as a mining engineer.
It was in the 1970s, however, after the passing of the McArthurs that the neighborhood bearing their name would come into its own. Over the past four decades, many subdivisions have grown up in McArthur Ranch, including Highland View Estates, Lone Tree Estates and the Carriage Club.
The McArthur Ranch neighborhood is located conveniently to the rest of the metro Denver region. Not only is McArthur Ranch a wonderful area full of single family properties, the horse properties offer all sorts of options for equestrians. The community provides convenient access, and is bound by bridle trails.
McArthur Ranch is located to the west of South Quebec Street on McArthur Ranch Road. It is east of the Highlands Ranch Southridge area, and is serviced by the schools in Highlands Ranch.
Most homes provide some space for equestrian activities, and you will find properties that range from brick ranch style homes to two-story homes. Lots are mostly one acre and larger. The homes date from the 1960s to the present.
